The eCommerce Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all customers are happy and satisfied with their experience via the website or direct contact. This comes from developing, executing and monitoring internal initiatives and website activity to better the overall customer experience.

With your strong communication skills and ability to think outside the box you create outstanding translations for our website.

Main Tasks

  • Answer incoming phone calls, emails from consumers and online chat.
  • Informing consumers about purchases & product, minimizing any doubt and return risk.
  • Edit and translate product and web content texts.
  • Actively monitor the volume and nature of consumer enquiries and identify gaps; make innovative suggestions on how to improve the department's performance.
  • Assist consumers in placing internet orders and returns.
  • Go above and beyond in service ensuring a pleasant shopping and brand experience.
  • Communicate issues and suggestions based on consumer feedback to other online team members.
  • Assist with Online development, testing and post evaluation phases of site enhancements or redesigns.
  • Back-up for team members during their absence.
  • Assist with returns and credits, warranty requests, moderate reviews or assist the Merchandise Team in daily tasks (in rotation)

Requirements

  • Languages: written & spoken German on a native level
    English fluent (written & spoken) required, French/Dutch an advantage
  • A passion for customer care with a proactive and service-minded attitude.
  • Passion for working creatively with (German) language
  • Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with text development and/or translating is an advantage.
  • Great team player skills and support your colleagues by offering unsolicited help.
  • Excellent project management skills, and able to make quick timelines.
  • Proven strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented, very flexible and a quick learner.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Word required, PC and Mac preferred.
  • A balance between a creative and tactical thinker with excellent analytical capabilities.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while ensuring core accountabilities are being met.
  • Self-motivated, shows initiative and able to solve problems with high energy and a positive attitude.
